Interventional Cardiologists - Bristol, PA

"My personal experience with this doctor and office caused me a lot of unnecessary stress during a time I should have been comforted. I only met this doctor 2x. The first for my evaluation for a cancer scare and bleeding. Doctor's front desk seemed to be chaotic, frazzled, disorganized and not present. It was as iff soemthing happed that day and they were short handed or something else. They couldn't find my paperwork that had already been submitted. This kind of stuff happens and I was empathetic. Met with doctor who seemed cold and emotionless. Some may like a doctor like that, but I don't - especially when I'm scared about my health. He was clearly very busy and trying to squeeze all his patients in. I was rushed in and out. I was rescheduled for a Colonoscopy. On that day the nurse who was trying to put my IV in was CLEARLY an emotional wreck Somethign was going on with her. Because of that she failed to get the needle in FOUR TIMES (painful) and was only getting more upset until another nurse showed up and saw what was going on. Thank goodness she came because I was so upset at this point. That nurse was comfortingm nurturing and got the needle in 1st try with no pain. Wish I remembered her name. I made sure to tell the staff I have a history of not falling asleep right away with the anesthesia, but also not waking up easily. That it usually takes a while. Upon waking from the procedure I was super groggy. The doctor was there and made a comment that I really needed to wake up as I was holding up his procedure room.... As if I was doing it on purpose and it wasn't the anesthesia. Maybe he was trynig to make a joke with a dry sense of humor, but the timing was very poor. He also let me know he found somethign and was sending it to the labs for a biopsy. Since I was concerend about it being cancer you can imagine the stress I felt. I was told he would have a televisit with in 2 weeks to give me the results. I was on the phone waiting for th elongest time and he never showed up. I called his office directly and the nurse apologised and said he'd call me backa and he never did. I called a couple times trying to get my results and was told the doctor needed to be the one to talk with me. Never happened. I finally found a colorectal surgeon on my own who was a gem and when he foudn out I still didn't have my results months later and had been living with the weight of the fear not knowing he got mad and called Dr. Sabu's office to demand the results then and there. He got them and I stayed working with him. Never went back to Dr. Sabu."
