"I had the privilege of being a patient of Jocelyn Marzec, in a art group therapy setting. I cannot say enough good things about her, she has great interpersonal skills, knows how to make one feel seen and understood without judgement. Is great at connecting with all types of people from all walks of life. In my five years i can attest to her ability to interact to new patients and make the space a safe place for healing, and mutual respect for one and other through a variety of mediums. She will work along side you on your journey pushing you when needed and taking a step back to let one be when needed. It wasnt always easy to be in a group setting but she was always there to support one and connect with each individual patient the way they needed it, being comfortable in that uncomfortable area and helping one grow to recognize ones emotions both mentally and physically. Teaching one compassion and gentle care onself even at ones worse. I am appreciative of all she has taught me about life, grief and enjoying and honoring our wholeselves and i wish her and her new patients the best in her continued journey in the mental health field, wherever that may be.
