"I was referred to Dr. Roberts by Primary Health Urgent Care at Overland and Maple Grove in Boise. I so happy that they did. I was happy with my previous physician and was not looking forward to having to find someone new. I am delighted to report I am lucky to find another jewel in the box of providers. The first point I was impressed was the intake for was laid out with gender diversity and inclusion in mind, already had my attention. While I was being cared for by the staff I was addressed and treated with dignaty and respect. The staff was friendly, kind, and paitent as I am a Senior woman with a Transgender history. Dr. Roberts addressed my specific needs with respect, and even went beyond my expectations for his concern for the way I have been treated for my gender dysphoria and the progress my transition. My exam and associated tests w3ere performed in a professional manor. My questions and concerns were addressed right away with a smile. I prefer going to an OD over a MD as their approach is more natural and holistic. Dr. Robert's approach to medicine and healing matches very closely to my own as I am a Certified Hypnotherapist. I have nothing but good to say about my first visit and I hope to have a long relationship with the Primary Health practice with Doctor Ammon Roberts, OD."

"She has a very nice bedside manner. Went to see her after 2 other doctors for the same symptoms. I told her the tests they had already run. She still ran these same tests again (understandably) and a couple others and told me that she would let me know what the results were. I got the results in the mail.. all negative... she did not follow up to see if i was still having these symtoms and didnt even follow up to say anything at all. I suffered more thinking there was nothing anyone could do. I feel like if a doctor really cares about their patients they would try to find out whats wrong with them. I did finally find the cause of my troubles but not with this doctor."

"She is Rude and won't listen! I went to see her when my doctor moved away because I'm in a great deal of pain in my back from a fall last summer. She refused to listen to me because she had her own agenda to get all kinds of test scheduled for me for my age and female necessities. I left there still in pain because every time i tried to talk about my pain and/or arthritis she changed the subject back to what she wanted done. I went ahead and had the tests done and I have heard nothing from her, one way or the other about the results. That was over a month or two ago. While I was there I tried to tell her about previous diagnoses I had been given in the past and she refused to acknowledge them let alone accept my word I had said diagnoses. She is a "know it all" doctor who is condescending to her patient and is not willing to work with the patient. She also acted like I, the patient, was stupid. I am well informed and well read about my previous diagnoses, but was treated like an idiot. I will not be returning to see this doctor."
