I love my job as a pediatrician and as an advocate for children. I will partner with you-- because you know your child best! Together we can support, heal, and provide the excellent care your child deserves. Dr Sorensen grew up in a family of 5 boys at the base of Big Cottonwood Canyon in Salt Lake City. He knows all those crags and slopes very well and loves to spend time in the mountains. He served an LDS mission in Honduras and it was there that he discovered he wanted to become a doctor. He went to BYU for his pre-medical education and then medical school in Fort Worth Texas at UNTHSC. In his final year of medical school, he was awarded the Pediatric Student of the Year award.
