Dr. Gangi acted like she didn't want to treat me and was annoyed that I was there. Her nurse was super nice but looked overworked and spoke like she needed to hurry, probably because she's doing more of the Dr.'s work! The phlebotomist had blood all over her gloves and the fingertips were missing off of the single use gloves...might as well not wear any. Front desk also couldn't be bothered to help you at the Plano location. With almost 30 years of medical practice, I wish I had a better experience with someone who is supposed to take care of me.

I have seen Dr Gangi for 19 years. When I started I was a fat diabetic who had only seen a PCP for care.  I was 325 pounds then. I have weighed 200 with A1Cs between 5.8 and 6.4 for 15 years. Losing over 100 pounds is not an overnight journey. If you do what she says, you will flourish.  If you want to eat tons of cake and sugar snacks, you won't have success with any endocrinologist.
