Dr Sukriti Bansal completed a fellowship in Bariatrics, Foregut, and Minimally Invasive/Advanced GI Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University. During her fellowship she gained advanced exposure to cutting edge robotic surgery techniques as well as complex laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of GI and esophageal disease. Dr Bansal completed her general surgery residency at the Baylor College of Medicine, gaining experience in complex hernia management, endocrine surgery, and abdominal surgery. Throughout her training in fellowship, residency, and medical school, she performed research primarily focused on expanding healthcare delivery to diverse patient populations locally and globally.
