Before becoming a therapist, Sonya Bracho, MSN, MA, RN. LPC, worked as a registered nurse for more than 20 years in a hospital, working with older adults in the community, and providing case management to medically complex adults. Later in life, due to her interest in mental health, she returned to the University of Toledo to obtain a Master's Degree in Counseling. Sonya believes that despite current or past challenges, we can create the life we want to have through healing, growth and working towards holistic wellness. As a counseling intern, Sonya worked in community mental health, then at a local employee assistance program where she obtained experience working with children, adults and couples.
