Dr. Kamat owns her own practice, therefore runs it very efficiently with primary focus on the patient.  She has Nurse Practitioners (NP)  who see you initially, then they meet with Dr. Kamat to discuss the possibilities of treatment.  Dr. Kamat then sees you and discusses your plan.  From there, the NP sees you with oversight from Dr. Kamat. My experience with Dr. Kamat and Scotty (NP) have been great.  They are prompt in getting back to you and listen to what you tell them. The care I have received has been fabulous.  

Dr. Kamat is not so quick to write a prescription.  I love that about her.  She listens intently to draw out everything you experience.  She asks what you have done in the past in attempts to remove or "treat" the symptoms.  I have fibromyalgia, which is difficult to treat.  She tested me for everything possible to rule out any of the major diagnoses that cross-over. We are still working together to manage the symptoms, and I have confidence that we will arrive at an efficient plan, as fibromyalgia is a unique condition of unknown origin. 
 
The entire office is so patient focused.  I can't say enough about this practice.
