My first visit was to confirm pregnancy, 4 weeks. As a first time mom, I didn’t necessarily know what to expect other than what my own research informed me, but during COVID, I wasn’t sure what the new norm was. I went in to give a urine sample, no cups in the basket and a few other samples left out. I stepped out to ask where I may get one, the office manager acted annoyed that I didn’t rummage through the drawers and find my own. After confirming with a urine sample, Dr. Ibrahim met with me to verbally confirm pregnancy and set up my next appointment. Her attitude was very uncomforting and dismissive when I asked if there was anything specific I should know to do/not do (i.e. food restrictions other than the obvious, etc.) Google can tell me, but I felt like it was the doctor’s responsibility to not assume I ‘just know.’ I also asked if my fiancé was going to be allowed to sit in my 6 week appointment as this would be the first ultrasound, at which time Dr. Ibrahim said yes, he would.
Prior to my 6 week appointment, the office manager called to confirm my appointment, notify me of the charges for my ultrasound, and inform me that I would need to come alone and wear a mask. I told her Dr. Ibrahim already told me my fiancé would be able to join. She rudely cut me off and said “I’m not in the room with you and the doctor, I don’t know what’s discussed, but he can wait in the parking lot.” I asked if I would be having any bloodwork done, the office manager said “As I stated, I’m not in the room with you, I don’t know what the doctor told you, I just have on here that you will have an ultrasound…” Fast forward to the appointment: my fiancé (now very unhappy with how I was treated) decided to come up with me anyways. As I was in the restroom, she escorted him out into the hallway and told him he could sit in a chair outside the office (FYI, super tiny hallway). Truthfully, it looked like he was a child in trouble outside the classroom. And while both of us understand COVID is a concern, logically, this doesn’t make sense. If he has COVID, I obviously would have been exposed. Second to that, now they are having all patients walk directly past him at the door entrance rather than allowing him to sit in the waiting area, if even in a corner spot. Ultimately, the office staff agreed to let him come into the ultrasound so that he, too, could see the baby. We were extremely grateful, as we are both first time parents. The ultrasound tech told me I would be meeting with Dr. Ibrahim right after to discuss the findings, etc. 50 minutes pass, we’ve now been at the doctor for 2+ hours and no doctor. Eventually, she does come in to tell me she would see me in 3 weeks and to make sure I am taking prenatal. No details about the baby, heartbeat, any abnormalities, etc. After we leave, we realize we should have gotten more information (heartrate, etc.) and request the documents. The nurse tells me the doctor should have discussed all of that with me and offers to mail the fetal report to us. After much thought, poor bedside manner, horrible office staff, lack of professionalism and punctuality, we decided this physician would not be our best choice and to seek other providers.
8 weeks: Thanksgiving weekend I experienced heavy bleeding. No cramping, but enough blood to be of concern. I called the office and had to leave a message, which I detailed my concern with miscarriage. At that time, we headed to the closest hospital. Fortunately, we were considered to have had a “threatened miscarriage” and baby was perfectly healthy, yay! After a few days of not hearing back from the office, we requested our records be sent to another physician and cancel our 9wk appointment.
Poor bedside manner, horrible office staff, lack of professionalism and punctuality. Run, don’t walk away from this office. I now go to Women’s Healthcare Affiliates and have never been happier!

My first visit to Dr. Ibrahim was not the best as her first comment walking in was negative. I assumed she had a bad day and blew it off. I was never comfortable with her because she has no bedside manner or personality. 
However, my second visit was a procedure for the issues I was having. Knowing I was aniemic, and still bleeding, I was denied my results over the copay. My assumption was that it was a follow up and I would not need the copay. The nurse called stressing the importance of coming in because my results were abnormal.
After getting the results back and trying to treat the symptoms of my issues I had decided I did not want to go back to her again. The treatment did not work and I ended up in the hospital. 
I was scolded for not calling Dr. Ibrahim, but I didn't call because I did not feel like she cared. 
At the follow up I asked for them to please hurry as I had waited 45 minutes after my appointment time and needed to get back to work.
