We took our son to Dr. Alpan's office for allergy testing (skin pricks). After deciding to pursue allergy shots as a course of treatment, I called the office and was told repeatedly that the office does not give appointments for allergy shots and that I should just walk in. I informed them it would be his first time, to which the receptionist said to tell that to the nurse when I got here. Sure enough, we took our son out of school (the office's hours for shots, 9-4, are completely inconvenient for children) and showed up, but the nurse said they had nothing ready for us, that we should have made an appointment first or spoken with the nurse, and that we would have to come back another day. Not only were the staff rude, but they didn't apologize for wasting our time. Terrible service (and this is not the only incident we've experienced with this office). I've informed my pediatrician and recommended they remove this office from their list of referrals.
