I had a significant jaw surgery performed by Dr. Spink, that had me in a medically induced coma (basically) for two days.  It was high risk surgery, that I had to be completely put to sleep for.  Dr. Spink's bedside manner is the BEST I've seen, and he came to check on me every day I was in the hospital, even those 2 days I was completely out of it.  He always introduced himself by first name to family members ("Mike", not "Dr Spink").  Real down-to-earth, always talked with the patient, not down to them.
