Dr. Mary E. Lambe, MD, FAAFP

Swedish in Seattle referred me to Mary Lambe who s a travel doctor and  family doc too. I saw her before my third trip to Nepal and my daughter saw her before her trip to the Amazon. After my great experience my wife now drives an hour to see her for regular care. All three of us really like her a lot and it is time we put in our reviews. Mary takes time to listen and goes over all details with care. I like how she writes everything down for me as she goes along. "So you don't worry and can relax" she told me. I was there for travel but she wants me to be safe so she goes through medical history and even bugged me about my "health maintenance" She doesn't let you get away with much but in return she made sure I asked what was on my  mind and was good natured while I remembered my questions. 
Swedish has an email system and she participates on it really promptly
First time I have not got sick in Nepal and first time I understood altitude information. Dr. Lambe has traveled and hiked a lot and it helps to have someone who understands from the inside maybe. It was hard to find the clinic the first time--ask for directions even if you make your appointment online yourself. Really worth the drive and we come from West Seattle. The clinic is very clean and all the staff are great.  It was hard to get in though both me and my daughter were seen in plenty of time for each of our trips. I think she is very popular so call early. They added an extra time slot to work my daughter in, which was really nice. (Written with my wife and daughter)
