She put me on medicine when I didn't need to be on it because my blood results showed me within normal range. I called her office after being on the medicine for 7 months. I left messages and they we're sent to Dr. Chandalia. No one every called me back. The reason for my calls were due to side effects. Side effects included palpations, loose stool, irregular heartbeat, anxiety, depression, tremors, brain sensations, leg cramps, fatigue, vomiting, chocking sensations, no appetite, hair loss, ETC. Two and a half months later I seen her and she disregarded everything I had to say as if I didn't know what I was talking about. I told her these symptoms usually lasted 30 mins - 1 hour. My body would be exhausted afterwards. She said the dosage was too low and I shouldn't be having these types of symptoms and referred me back to my primary care physician. I don't know why because these were related to Thyroid. I, then went to get a second opinion. The new specialist stated I should've never been on the drug because I was within normal limits. I started to wean myself off the drug before I seen her. My blood work showed me going back to normal TSH range. I'm still very unsure about the chronic damage that has occurred because I haven't had everything evaluated. It was by far the worst three months of my life and pray no long term damage has occurred because it was prolonged and never handled within reason and a timely manner due to no response. It's been three weeks and I'm having better days since stopping the drug. I've also experienced problems with my job because of these side effects.
