If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at Dr. Lawrence Stein’s office (ENT specialist at 7320 Woodlake Ave, #240, West Hills, CA) was unacceptable. The complete lack of professionalism, patient care, and basic courtesy makes it clear that this office does not prioritize its patients.

Dismissed at My First Visit
I initially saw Dr. Stein for a severe sinus and ear infection. He prescribed antibiotics, but when my symptoms didn’t improve, I scheduled a follow-up—something I now regret.

Rescheduling Shouldn’t Be This Difficult
Feeling very unwell, I called in the morning to reschedule for later the same day. The front desk refused, claiming he was fully booked, despite previously saying there were plenty of openings. Minutes later, another staff member, Emelia, called back with an available slot—proving they could accommodate me but chose not to at first.

Left Waiting in the Hallway
I arrived early and knocked to check in. Instead of letting me inside, the front desk made me wait in the hallway. Dr. Stein himself came out—not to let me in, but to say it would be "a few more minutes." I was finally allowed in but was immediately met with unnecessary hostility.

Tea Was the Problem? Not My Health?
Without asking, a staff member snapped, “Coffee isn’t allowed inside.” It wasn’t coffee—it was hot tea to soothe my throat because I was sick. Even after I explained, she demanded I throw it away or leave it in the hallway, insisting, “No one will touch it.” Expecting a sick patient to abandon an open beverage in a public space is completely irresponsible.

Completely Unacceptable Treatment
Patients deserve respect and professionalism—not indifference and hostility. Healthcare should never feel this way. I will be reporting this to my insurance provider and urge others to find a competent, patient-focused ENT elsewhere. Avoid this office.

This is nothing to do with the doctor but the person who attended the doctor office call at 12.50 PM on July 7th. She is so rude that she hung up on my call saying you have to call another day as she cannot hear me when I introduced myself. Total nonsense and she should have been taught on how to approach a patient. Total rubbish
