Dr. Smoot was extremely engaged in our meeting asking lots of questions and patiently listening to my responses. He also was very open to answering the questions I'd had listed to go over with him. He made recommendations about my current and future treatments and he didn't hesitate to ordered some labs to rule out some issues I've been having, which ended up being a very good call on his part. I think he's not only smart, but has an open and relaxed personality making it easy to talk to him about any concerns. I think he's great!

Dr. Smoot is my neurologist and is the ONLY provider I have that has not changed in the last 5 years. My primary care providers, ob/gynecologists and opthalmologists have all left their practices and either retired or moved to new locations. I've had at least two or each of those provider types in the last five years. Dr. Smoot continues to provide consistent, professional and compassionate neurological medical help to me concerning my chronic condition. Don't know what I'd do without him. He's the best! :-)

Dr. Smoot is honestly the best! He is very professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. He is also personable and caring. I really don't know how he does it but I feel so thankful for him being my neurologist. One note on the survey is it should be updated to include virtual visit answers. For example, adding an N/A for the last questions about receptionists and such because I only saw Dr. Smoot. Thanks!

I really feel like Dr. Smoot is on my team helping me fight Multiple Sclerosis and find ways to manage living with this disease. I'm really grateful to have a provider with his level of compassion, knowledge, and ability. He always answers my chart messages quickly and I also appreciate the update emails he sends to all MS patients. He's the best great MAs and Nurses too.

He does not suffer from a God complex and is open to hearing what works for the individual as an individual while giving options and what he considers is the best choices allowing me as a patient to choose what works for me. He keeps a list of outstanding issues to talk about, including whether we have seen a counselor. We have had difficulties getting an appointment, and knowing he will ask about it will ensure our follow up. We really appreciate that. He is not recommending treatment for my MS due to my age and generally good health, which is good news for me.

Dr. Smoot and staff were amazing. I got in before my scheduled appointment time and Doc put me at ease about my concerns by explaining clearly, concisely and answered all my questions. He took as much time necessary so I understood what my brain MRI results report meant, which had confusing information. I'm so glad he's my neurologist.

I have been a patient of Kyle Smoot for years and have always been listened to and treated respectfully. So glad when the office at the East side Providence Medical Plaza was opened as with my Multiple Sclerosis driving to the office on the West side can be a frightening experience.
