I cannot recommend Dr. Knox to anyone looking for a pulmonologist in Tucson. His name should be "Dr. Knot.” Whenever, I needed to ask him questions concerning medication or more clarification on radiology reports, he never returned my calls. During the 5 visits that I had with him, he never showed any commanding knowledge of my lung disease and most of the time was dismissive and, at times, even caustic when I asked him questions pertaining to my disease. He is unable to establish a rapport with patients that is so essential in being a good clinician. Dr. Knox just doesn’t seem to care about his patients and I feel that this is what undermines the quality of care that he is able to give. I would strongly advise you to go to someone else if you have a lung problem.
