Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I found nursing, pregnancy and childbirth fascinating. I want the experience to be a good and positive one for my patients and their families. I want to support my patients so they feel confident in their healthcare choices. What I want my patients to know about me: My educational background started in sociology and intercultural studies before I studied midwifery. I believe in living healthy in all aspects of life. Patients need to have information about their healthcare, and I want to be the person to give them the tools, knowledge and encouragement they need to make decisions that are best for their lives. Patients are a part of the process, we are a team.
