Dr. Torres has been my pain management physician since 2006.  I have found no reason to ever consider switching providers.  Considering his specialty, an 18-year relationship ls just about unheard of.  Just in brief, if you think Jose is a "pill doc", just walk right on by.  Of course he prescribes what he considers to be appropriate treatment, and yes, for some people that involves narcotics.  But don't mistake Dr. Torres for a "pill mill" doc.  He's anything but that.  To be his patient, you have to send all your medical records to him, and HE decides if he can help you.  He's warm, compassionate, and caring, but he's a real, board certified  pain doc.  Knows his stuff well.  Can be a bit hard to contact, but keep trying.  He's worth it.
