I’m sure he is a fine doctor. Seemed like it, but his office staff is non-responsive. I called 3 days in a row. Kept getting told the person I’d need to talk to was on the other line and would call me back that day. I finally just decided to cut my losses and go to a different doctor. Then I got a call from the affiliated hospital, not the doctors office, telling me they scheduled my surgery. I was completely blindsided and didn’t even know which hospital was callin me. The hospital couldn’t tell me anything about cost or anything.  I called the doctors office to cancel the surgery. They asked if I wanted to reschedule. I said no, I have another doctor now who is wonderful and can perform the procedure at her office, not a hospital. Took the time to explain everything. Such a different experience. Again, not saying Dr. McEvoy is bad. I can’t really speak to that because I never heard from him after my initial 3-min appointment. But his office staff is sloppy and unhelpful.
