This office is only concerned with how much money and profit you can bring in for them. If you miss your annual visit, you are removed from their patient database. If you try to make an appointment, they will say that you are now considered a new patient, and when you try to make a new patient appointment, (which is typically longer and has a higher cost,) you are told that they are currently not accepting new patients, so you will need to find care elsewhere. When you explain that you are experiencing a very concerning health situation and need to see someone so that you can get lab work scheduled, you are told that you will need to find a new provider or see urgent care. You will not be scheduled, as you are now considered a new patient and they are no longer accepting new patients. They will have zero consideration for your health, or how long you have been with the practice.

When you go to this facility, as the spouse of the person in question, to inquire why your spouse is not able to make an "extra cost-new patient " appointment since they have an outstanding history with the office, and they are not just a new person walking in off the street, you are told nothing can be done, your spouse will not be seen, they will need to see a new provider. When they are told that this decision is affecting your spouse's mental health, because they are experiencing a concerning situation, you are heartlessly told that "this is not a mental health facility, but we can give you a recommendation for one." You are left crying, in front of your young children who had to come along. And then you receive a letter in the mail being told that you are also being kicked out of the practice. No explanation, no reason, just that they will no longer treat you, and that you will have to find a new provider as well.

In addition, at least 6 times calls were left on their required voicemail for prescription refills that were never processed. Of those six times, a second voicemail was left four times and the request still wasn't processed. I had to call back and wait to actually speak to a person and tell them that my request hadn't been processed. And this was after waiting 4 or more days for each request.

The people working the front counter must have the most miserable lives to treat people the way that they do. I sincerely hope for them that each of their lives improve to the point that they're able to treat people with the respect that they deserve coming into that practice. Multiple times I considered leaving based on the fact that I felt like the scum on the bottom of someone's shoe for asking a question. I never, in all of my time there, raised my voice. I never got upset, other than the time I went in to question why they weren't able to schedule my spouse for an appointment. And even then, I got upset in a sad way, not an angry way - I was crying rather than yelling. Yet six ladies behind the counter jumped down my throat, for daring to question the policy apparently put in place by the "God" that is "Dr. Fierro." The person in charge who, might I add, you only ever see the very first time you have an appointment, as all other treatment is only done through nurse practitioners. The person who has no regard for his patients or their health. When I asked the front desk, "may I please speak with the office manager or Dr. Fierro?" in a completely calm manner, he is the person, whose office is located right by the front desk, and rather than pop out and say something along the lines of "how can I help?" he instead chose to slide his foot over and shut the office door right in my face.

I would not recommend this office to my WORST enemy. And should they ever start taking new patients, and you're considering going to this office, please turn to the other direction and run far and fast to any other practice that is currently accepting patients! I promise, you'll thank me later.

After years of service I have experienced incomplete annual exams, constant NP turnover, I have never met the doctor because he never sees patients, uses Nurse Practitioners only. They insist on unnecessary follow up visits just to get $ and I have to pay a copay. The care is below grade and I will be leaving.

Every visit My husband & myself have had was excellent. Very warm , considerate, caring & knowledgeable. We have moved to Milford, DE but will continue to go to Dr Fierro’s office for our visits. If it wasn’t for Dr. Fierro my husband would never have found out he has Hemochromatosis. He saved my husbands life. We will forever be grateful. We love Dr. Katie & are happy she was hired in the practice. Thank you to all who work there..
