I followed Dr Foy from another local medical practice. I find he has a wonderful bedside manner and is ver personable. He answered my questions and explained my test results as well listened to my concerns.

The receptionist is not personable. She was cold, but professional. The medical staff were congenial and professional.

I find their online patient portal easily accessible (messaging Dr Foy, find test results, making appointments).

My wife visited Dr. Foy (at the Anthem office) for a routine physical exam. During the visit, there was no physical exam—the doctor told her to get a blood test and a mammogram (see below), so she got the blood test immediately and scheduled the mammogram. After the blood work was completed, the lab told her the results would take no more than 48 hours, after which she called the office to find out the results. They didn’t return her calls, even when we went in person once. We finally went to the office and asked for a copy of the blood test, which they gave us. Nearly a month later, they still haven’t explained the results., so I had to go online to research the numbers.  I’m not a doctor and shouldn’t have to play one.
Despite telling Dr. Foy she was breastfeeding, she was scheduled for a mammogram. At the radiology lab, the doctor was shocked to find out she was breastfeeding and said “your doctor must be crazy,” since a woman can’t get a mammogram if she’s breastfeeding.
This was a complete waste of time and surely Aetna shouldn’t be paying for this kind of treatment or lack of treatment. We have to find a different doctor and will never visit DMG again.
