My primary care doctor did not believe I had migraines (I had moved here because of huband's job change-primary doctor that I had, but got rid of didn't believe my diagnosis,nor did he want to support my medications) and made this known to this neurologist, so everytime I came in I felt like I had to justify my migraines, instead of working through a plan to resolve my migraine issues. My migraines got worse and my doctor told me back in my previous state that I probably would need to increase some meds to help with this, but this doctor said the increase in headaches was just temporary "stress". He increased meds slightly and my migraines continued to get worse to the point I have run out of my migraine "treatment" medicne 2-90 day cycles in a row.  The treatment I receive at this office from my first visit until now is like nothing I have ever seen, I have enough problems with dealing with my health and now I need to find a new neurologist who deals with migraines and who will actively help me develop a plan. to resolve my migraines. I did see his nurse practitioner once and she was nice and seemed like she understood my headache issues and how they impacted my other health issues.
