After waiting 6 months to get in to see this group as my new PCP, I was very pleased with the service I got. I have only ever seen the PA, but that is normal nowadays. Erik is great. This whole thing breaks down when it is turned over to the back office staff, those that we dont see. the short version is that after getting labs drawn and having a follow-up appointment to discuss them, with the sole purpose being to get refills on all my maintenance meds. These meds were never called in. It took me over two weeks and 6 separate phone calls to have my blood pressure medicine refilled, meanwhile I did without and was almost denied surgery because my blood pressure was spiking. a few weeks later I ran out of another lifelong drug that is to be taken every day without fail. To make a long story short, even though I made a lab appointment and a follow-up appointment and had copies of labs drawn just the prior week in prep for surgery, and the fact that I ran out was their fault to begin with,  the office staff refused to call in enough of my meds to last me until the follow up appointment which was less than 2 weeks away. They gave no good excuse for it. These people are about the money, not about helping the patient. I am switching PCPs which is a shame since I really liked Erik, and I recommend you do not chose this group as your PCP if you take any meds at all.

ive never seen dr. porter but i am fine with that. The PA are great and have done what i've asked for or was concerned with. staff in general is professional and nice. so far so good.

I think this group's ratings  fail to give credit where credit is due.   I am fairly new to Dr's Porter's service,  and I am sorry for whatever anyone else may have experienced that might have been below their expectations or wishes (no one is perfect anyway), but I have been very appreciative of the service.  I spent 2 months practically begging for referrals  to specialist (cancer and a broken shoulder) thru my prior doctors group, and Never got anywhere and couldn'e even hardly get in the see that doctor.  I called Dr Porter's office,  immd changed to him as my PCP, was seen 2 hrs later (PAs and staff are great), and the referrals I needed were addressed That day.  Thank you  !!! I'm looking forward to continuing healthcare with ya'll.
