My husband and I were doing Diy Projects in our sunroom installing a floor with only 4 planks left! we took the table saw out 1 board one came out good we were so confident until he used a small stick to push the board and slipped. His thumb went into the saw cut this thumb diagonally all I saw was his thumb hanging and disbelief! On our way to PIH Whittier thinking an orthopedic doctor would be there.  With many orthopedic doctors there no hand specialist! he was transferred to PIH los angeles he had hand surgery in the morning and discharge the same day.  Dr. Billings was so thorough in his care and explaining everything. 
She just said he is very lucky to have his thumb! she saved it, thank god she was on-call July 4th. Thank you, Dr. Billings and staff! Now his thumb is healed and working on therapy.

I went to Dr. Billings to discus my carpal tunnel and she was completely thorough and so wonderful at walking me through all options including surgery. Ultimately I opted for carpal tunnel surgery on both hands and her and her team were just marvelous. So happy I am able to use my hand again pain-free.
