Biography

Allison Held, MD, is a family medicine doctor who believes in forming partnerships with her patients. “I enjoy getting to know my patients over time to develop trusting and healing relationships,” she said. “I try to learn what their baseline is and approach it as a partnership to work together toward their best health.” Dr Held’s experience as a patient has helped her understand how vulnerable an anxious people might feel in medical settings, giving her a greater sense of empathy. “Understanding this, I try to always be patient and kind with patients,” she said. Dr Held always loved science and math in school and wanted a career that would involve continuous learning.
