I called to schedule and appointment with an ophthalmologist because I have Marfans syndrome and at risk for dislocation for lense or retina detachment. My ophthalmologist retired. So  I specifically asked when I made the appointment if they could write my prescription for glasses and contacts and was told yes. I drove out of my way to get to the office, filled out the paperwork and was then informed that the Dr could not write prescriptions. this is so unprofessional and waste of my time. I had to take time off work and I didnt even see anyone. I had to find someone else to schedule with.
