"After experiencing 8 weeks of extreme back pain from a herniated disc, I was referred to a spine specialist and chose Dr. Moshirfar. When I had my appointment at Orthopaedic and Spine Surgery Institute, I met with nurse Debora Feeney, who caused unnecessary delays in my care and treatment... During my appointment, she referred me to see a pain management specialist and recommended I get a steroid injection and receive physical therapy. However, she said I would first need to get clearance from my doctor who prescribes a particular medication to stop taking the medication for 2 days before and after an injection. It took me 2 weeks (while my pain became even more severe) until I could get an appointment with my other doctor. When I met with him to discuss this, he was furious with her, explaining that there’s absolutely no reason I would need to stop my medication since it has no drug interactions with the steroid treatment. On top of that, when I searched a doctor who provides Epidural Steroid Injections and Physical Therapy services, the first name that came up is Dr. Moshirfar of Orthopaedic and Spine Surgery Institute. Of course, I would prefer to streamline my care by receiving treatment at one facility to avoid waiting weeks to be seen as a new patient, having to fill out additional paperwork, and going through numerous additional evaluations by new providers. I don’t understand why Ms. Feeney would refer me to other providers when her office provides the services she recommended. That being said, I would caution anyone from this practice. I wasted energy, money, and extended the amount of time until I finally received pain relief from another specialist 4 weeks after my appointment with Ms. Feeney. "

"I visited Dr Khan after I broke my thumb a few days earlier. The ER doctor was able to stabilize it after my accident but he recommended I see a doctor as soon as possible and Dr Khan was able to see me the next business day (the accident was on a Friday, he saw me Monday 8am). After looking at the x-rays and my thumb he recommended surgery and he was able to schedule it for the next day. He did a great job, and after a couple of months of wearing a cast and then a couple of months of rehab across the aisle from his office I was able to get my thumb back to as good as new!"

"Dr. Griffith has operated on my right knee, right shoulder, and left bicep. His surgeries are rock solid and not intrusive. If you are active and need repaired because you are getting older, I am 59, he is the one that will get you back into whatever sport you are playing."

He is a good listener and is considerate when it comes to listening to alternative treatment options when presented. With his excellent bedside manner and experience in his field, I would recommend him to anyone with an orthopedic need. "
