"Dr Slocum is one of the few doctors that I can actually say I feel better after I visit him. He may not instantly cure my problem but I leave in better spirits and with hope. He takes the time to listen to your problems and wants to know about your overall health. He doesn't look at you like a number or like dollar signs. He doesn't rush you in and out. He shows compassion when needed, adds some humor if needed, and makes sure all your concerns are addressed before you leave your appointment. If we could clone him for every specialty that is needed the medical field would be solved of all the negative views and patients would leave their appointments with more hope and faster cures. Sometimes there may not be an instant cure but if you leave with knowing someone cares and is working with you it helps your journey to healing. "
