Optometrists - Longwood, FL

"My kiddos had appointments set for October 2022 but it had to be changed to December 2022. One of them was a returning patient and the other was a new patient. Both are on my insurance plan and I've used my insurance for both myself and daughter in the past with no issue. Here's where it became an issue, the office had months to verify my insurance again especially after I told them that nothing has changed. They waited til the day before the appointment to ask me for a copy of my insurance card which I sent them, they only replied thank you. The next day when my kiddos went in for their exams nothing was said about my insurance until it came time to check out and was hit with a fee of $155 per child totaling $310. When asked why and how, I was simply given an excuse of not being in network and gave me forms to file out to send to my insurance for reimbursement. Why was I not informed this the day prior or as we were checking in? They did that intentionally to blindside me and collect $310 from me. Never again!!"

"Worst medical experience I ever had. Do not see this optometrist. If I could give no star I would. She examined me and they made me 2 pairs of glasses. Or Optical Outlets. Unprofessional and rude. The glasses they made me were absolutely useless. I couldn’t see with them. They took them back, gave me a refund and made a new appointment to have them corrected. I went back today and she refused to see me. I tried to show her and a assistant my last prescription from over a year ago that was stronger and better than what she prescribed. They blamed the problem on my cataracts which made no sense since my old glasses worked fine. I just needed to replace my old computer glasses and change the color of my sunglasses. They suggested I keep then for a few days. I came back and told the person at the desk I wanted them redone. She made me a new appointment but when I got there and waited she refused to see me. Then another women told me to find a different optometrist. Unbelievable! So now I’ve used up my insurance for the year and didn’t get glasses. Please warn others . They advertise their sales promotions constantly."
