"I am not sure why Dr Kravetz keeps getting low scores from patients. As a surgeon, he is exceptionally skilled, and a miracle worker in my case. I had been suffering from terrible back pain and a slightly less responsive left leg for years, but made due with injections and pills to get me through, as well as exercise. January of 2016 I caught pneumonia after the flu. After a horrible, hard coughing fit, something snapped in my lumbar back, and everything started going down hill much quicker. I thought I could just fight my way through it, but the damage was done. I saw three separate surgeons; one barely looked at me, one didn't like that I was overweight, was very brusque, and brushed me off nearly immediately. Dr Kravetz wasn't rude, or derisive, he was very up-front and honest about what challenges lay ahead, came up with a course of action that took into account the damage, the scope of my symptoms (worsening left leg, the beginnings of bladder and bowel dysfunction, my propensity to scar internally during abdominal surgery , and working around my weight , all while trying to save me from landing in a wheel chair. Dr Kravetz did all those things. I'm still currently on the mend, but here it is nearly Christmas and I am doing so much better than before my surgeries. Don't let the low ratings fool you. He is a great surgeon who is confident in his craft, and he knows he is good. Allow him the time and patience to show you.
